LIVE UPDATES: 11th Miss Grand Thailand 2023 Final Competition Results

Miss Grand Thailand 2023 is 11th edition of Miss Grand Thailand beauty pageant, held on 29 April 2023 at MGI Hall, Show DC Megacomplex, Bangkok from 19:00pm (Bangkok Time) in the capital city of Thailand. While the initial pageant activities were decided to be done in the province of Chiang Mai. Thaweeporn Phingchamrat was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2023 by Engfa Waraha Miss Grand Thailand 2022 as her successor at the end of the event. She will represent Thailand at the 11th edition of Miss Grand International 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The live coronation event was broadcasted through the live stream on Grand TV's Youtube channel. Hosted by Mr. Matthew Deane Chanthavanij who charmed the audience with his witty personality. Overall, all the Top seventy-seven delegates performed in the opening dance and self-introduction round wearing colorful outfits. The panel of judges included Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil founder and chairman of the Miss Grand International organization, Teresa Chaivisut Vice-President of MGI, and Isabella Menin Miss Grand International 2022 from Brazil.

Aoom Thaweeporn Phingchamrat from Chumphon was crowned as Miss Grand Thailand 2023 winner by last year's winner Engfa Waraha. Aoom will represent Thailand at the 11th edition of Miss Grand International 2023 on 15 October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Her court includes Miss Grand Phuket as 1st Runner-Up, Miss Grand Bangkok Pimjira Charoenluk finished as the 2nd Runner-Up, Miss Popular Vote winner Miss Grand Loei Ajcharee Srisuk awarded 3rd Runner-Up and rounding up the Top 5 was Miss Grand Phrae Ketwalee Phlobdee as the 4th Runner-Up. The Top 11 Finalists will all work together with the Miss Grand Thailand organization for one year contract and some of the finalists will be sent to International Pageants like Miss Intercontinental, The Miss Globe, Miss Tourism International 2022, and Face of Beauty International.

Top 20 Semi-Finalists performed in a sexy swimsuit competition where they walk in the fabulous RuPaul soundtrack with an upbeat vibe. Miss Grand Thailand 2023 Top 11 Finalists walked in gorgeous evening gowns with spectacular 4K quality slow motion at the front of the stage. Miss Grand Saraburi's director was awarded as the winner of Best Province Director of the Year 2023 for her great teamwork. The Top 11 Finalists were asked one common question, to pick between Mr. Prayut Chan-o-cha and General Prawit Wongsuwon and the reason why?

The Top 11 Finalists were asked common questions regarding selecting between the current Thai Prime Minister Mr. Prayut Chan-o-cha and First Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwon, who would you choose and why? This was due to the upcoming 2023 Thai General Election which is happening on 14 May 2023 will select the ruling leader or party. Most of the delegates selected General Prawit in place of the current Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha who is not liked by the majority of the Thai general public due to his forceful military regime which goes against the democracy of the Thai people. The Final Top 5 finalists were selected among which Miss Grand Phuket (Southern Region), Miss Grand Bangkok (Central Region), Miss Grand Phrae (Northern Region), Miss Grand Loei (NorthEast Region), and Miss Grand Chumphon (Boss Choice) moved forward to answer the final question. All five finalists had to answer the common question asked to them; Upcoming election day is on the 14th of May, and every party is promoting their policy will support the general public. Even though they do not fulfill their promises. Suggest a punishment for those parties for failing their responsibilities by committing fraud. So, they can be an example for the future ruling party. Miss Chumphon Aoom came across as victorious with her brave and confident answer regarding removing the current military ruling party and never letting corrupt leaders run Thailand. She emphasized the importance of being honest and genuine to be a great leader of a democratic country with a great future vision for their people and the country.
